Eneni Oduwole is a seasoned Risk Management strategist and practitioner. Her career spans over 25 years and she has been responsible for developing and implementing frameworks for enterprise risk management, business continuity management, monitoring environment, social and governance risks, process improvement, change management and project management. She has overseen policy development and security administration. She started her career as a bank examiner with the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation, then as a risk practitioner in StanbicIBTC and Guaranty Trust Bank Plc before she joined Dangote Industries Limited where she was the Deputy Group Chief Risk Officer. Eneni also headed compliance, Environmental & Sustainability Management, Transport & Logistics Management, and Access Control Management departments at various times in her career and has been responsible for the implementation of key projects in her organizations such as managing the Group COVID Centre at Dangote Industries Limited. She now runs her own Risk Management Consultancy, Alter-ED Limited. Eneni is a Professional Member of the Institute of Operational Risk (IOR), UK: an Associate member of the Business Continuity Institute (AMBCI),UK: a British Computer Society Certified Information Risk Manager and Prosci Certified Change Management Expert. Eneni was the pioneer Country Representative of the Business Continuity in Nigeria: she sits in the EXCO of the Institute of Operational Risk - Nigeria Chapter and is a Senior Associate and EXCO member of the Risk Management Association of Nigeria (RIMAN). She is also a faculty member of the Risk Management Academy of Nigeria, a member of the NIgeria Institute of Management, a fellow of the Association of Sustainable Professionals of Nigeria, and fellow of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability, UK. She was recently admitted to The DCRO Institute, USA as a Qualified Risk Director. Her personal motto is "Kaizen" a Japanese word meaning "Continuous Improvement or Change For Better." This mantra drives her earnest pursuit for knowledge and excellence. She has a first degree in Economics from University of Calabar, an MBA from Pan-African University, Lagos Business School, an MSc in Risk Management from the NYU Stern School of Business, and currently a Doctoral candidate of University of Durham, UK and Emylon University, France. She is married with children and her interests include mentoring, travelling, cooking, gardening, and interior designing.
