Ayo Sotinrin was appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on April 4, 2025 as the MD, Bank of Agriculture (BOA). Sotinrin is a seasoned professional with experience in agribusiness, finance, infrastructure development, and public service. Sotinrin's background includes an Executive MBA from Business School, Oxford University, an Advanced Diploma in Environmental Conservation, and a Master's degree in Engineering Business Management from Warwick University. He is also the founder of SAO Group of companies. The Bank of Agriculture, which was established in 1972, plays a crucial role in financing farmers and agribusinesses across Nigeria.
