Kamoru is a professional Banker with cross functional experience in business development, strategy, compliance and risk management spanning over 20 years. He has HND in Banking & Finance from The Polytechnic Ibadan and holds a B.sc in Banking & Finance from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye.

He obtained M.Sc degree also in Banking & Finance from University of Ibadan. He is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB), Fellow of Chartered Risk Management Institute of Nigeria and an Associate of The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACS). He holds a Certificate in Islamic Finance Risk Assessment & Mitigation (CeIFRAM) from TAIF Institute, RAK, UAE.

He is a Premium Member of Basel III Compliance Professional Association (BiiiCPA), Washington DC, USA and a member of Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). He has attended several courses in Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Leadership and Strategy. Kamoru is currently the Chief Risk Officer of TAJBank Ltd.
