Dr. Laurine Ubanozie is an accomplished business developer and risk expert with strong marketing acumen. She has made exceptional contributions to the development of risk management in the financial and oil and gas industries. With an extensive educational background, she holds a Doctorate Degree of Science (D.SC Hons) in Petroleum Resources Management and Corporate Governance, Master's Degrees in Public and Business Administration and a B.A. in English. Additionally, she is among the 1st Nigerians to be certified as Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO), she is a Fellow Chartered Risk Manager (FCRM) and a certified International Professional Manager (CIPM) from the United Kingdom. Dr. Laurine has also earned a Certificate of Merit in International Humanitarian Law and Law of Armed Conflict from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research amongst other certifications. Throughout her career, Dr. Laurine has actively participated in various training programmes and seminars both locally and internationally. She embarked on her professional journey as a Banker at Access Bank PLC before joining the management team of Cashville Group from August 2003 to February 2011. During her tenure, she advanced to the position of Senior Business Development Manager. Following this, she held the role of Senior Executive/Lead in Business Development at IGPES, a prominent indigenous upstream Oil and Gas servicing company, for four years. Dr. Laurine then transitioned to ACE Depository Nigeria Global Limited, where she served as a Senior Relationship Manager for another four years. Subsequently, she joined the Group Management of JPSage Group as the pioneering Managing Director/CEO of Sageview Petroleum Limited, a subsidiary of JPSage Group. In 2013, she established Laubarella Resources Limited, a risk management and business development consulting firm, where she currently serves as the Managing Principal, offer consultancy services for business continuity, startup/ strategies, risk management framework and governance structures. She also offers AI Risk Governance and framework etc. She formed partnerships with several Oil and Gas servicing companies and an international risk management consulting company, Aptivaa/Cognext, where she holds the position of a Country Manager, in Nigeria. Dr Laurine offers travel and visa guidance services. Recognized for her strategic acumen, Dr. Laurine is a Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, Fellow Chartered Risk Manager and a confident Business Developer. She has conducted training sessions on Collateral/Risk management under Structured Trade Finance for various financial institutions in Nigeria. Additionally, she serves as the National Treasurer / Governing Council member and Fellow Chartered Risk Manager of the Chartered Risk Management Institute (CRMI) of Nigeria, formerly known as RIMAN. She is also a Fellow of IPMA (UK). Dr. Laurine is an active philanthropist and the founder of the Formidable Jewels Foundation for the Needy. She is a proud Rotarian and Past President of the Rotary Club of Ikoyi Metro, currently an Assistant Governor District 9112 Rotary International, having been honored as a Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Foundation, Rotary International. Currently, the National Coordinator D9112 for Nigerian- Canada Inter Community Committee and The Cleft Lip and Palate she serves at various committees at the district and sits on the board of the Rotary Club of Ikoyi Metro, having received numerous accolades for her exemplary service. Dr. Laurine holds positions on the boards of various companies and has been the recipient of numerous awards. Most recently, she was bestowed with the ECOWAS Distinguished Leadership Award by ECOWAS, highlighting her outstanding leadership qualities and achievements. She offers mentorship programs for young adults, career counseling and adulthood expectations for senior secondary students. She loves cooking, traveling and dancing. Dr Laurine is a dotting mother of two beautiful young adults.
