Dr Kingsley Nwokoma is the president of The Association of Foreign Airlines and Representatives in Nigeria (AFARN), with headquarters at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria. AFARN brings together foreign airlines and their representatives in Nigeria and is a major voice in the aviation industry. Dr. Nwokoma is a seasoned aviator and can be described as one of the most outstanding experts the Nigerian nation prides with. He has taken his rare knowledge in this strategic sector to the pinnacle where it has brought meaningful development and contribution in restoring dignity to the aviation sector. He has attended various aviation management and postgraduate studies in the USA, UK, Canada, France, Luxembourg and Germany. One of his research works is on the advancement of the aviation sector in Nigeria and Africa, it's titled 'A case study on safety and security, looking at short-, medium- and long-term plan by applying strategic innovations' He has held various management positions in various airlines in the industry and has been a member of various Federal government committees on aviation reforms. He is a beneficiary of multiple awards and recognitions in the global aviation world, and a member of the National Business Aviation Association in America. He is innovative, service-focused, a strong decision maker and a team player. Dr Kingsley Nwokoma is a Paul Harris fellow of Rotary International, He is also a fellow of the Institute of Certified Business Consultants and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. He is a member of the Ikoyi Club 1938, The Lagos Country Club and an avid player of lawn tennis with an interest in Golf, Basketball, Ice Skating and Figure Skating. He is married and blessed with kids
